What about me? I’ve loved and lost, I’ve been loved and lost myself. My life has always been about me. What I’d like my life to be, what road I’d have to travel to get there, and suddenly not too long ago I realized that it would be that much better to spend it with someone. Someone who is opinionated, stubborn, tolerates my sports watching, someone who doesn’t need a magazine to tell us what works, but knows what works through feeling. A woman whose dreams are goals and I can be a part of her achieving her own goals. A woman who cheers me on as I navigate my own path and maybe… just maybe we navigate together.

I can’t construct the perfect date. I promise that I will hear you because I am here to hear you, not simply stare at you. We can talk about our lives as we see it and where it’s going and ultimately where we want it to end up. Everyone speaks so much about the physical, can we talk about sitting down and enjoying the company of the person in front of you?
