Its important to be selective. But how does one do that when you first meet someone. Since everyone will be on their best behavior in the beginning. Only time will tell. Therefore an important filtering process is required, but if you have too many filters you might be excluding that special someone. So there is a certain amount of risk involved.

At first when I created my profile, I didn't take it seriously since I don't go through dating sites. So I just filled in the the fields with the minimum words required. I was curious to see what was there online. Being the private person that I am it is not a simple task describing myself for all to see.

I am a strong believer in proper manners and etiquette. Since manners play a ubiquitous role in every segment of our lives being it business, personal, social, or family. Being able to know how someone comports themselves in all these different roles is important to me. Especially during a time of discomfort or stress. When persons are are under pressure they behave a certain way. It is only through time spent with that someone is when will see the manner which they behave themselves.

I believe lying is unnecessary. Why bother with lying. The truth well structured can serve the same purpose.

Finally, I don't like to waste my time. Whether the relationship is friendly, personal, or business. Especially if that person is not who they say they are, or they try be someone that they are not. I think that's rude. Eventually its all going to come out, and during which you;ve invested much time and emotion. I don't like that. I am a very direct and try to be subtle at the same time, taking into
consideration the other person's feelings (I do try to be empathetic during this process).
I believe in self-improvement for both me and my girlfriend. The relationship should grow in a positive direction. There will always be negative issues (BS) to deal with. But it is how we deal with those issues that make us who we are. If the relationship is not mutually beneficial for both I think you step back and evaluate the situation.

I love the wining and dining thing. I enjoy traveling especially to Europe and South America. I play racquetball and weight train. I also like to go on casino excursions in the Caribbean or in Europe (Monaco).

I'm a movie buff and I play racquetball competitively. There is much much more but we can discuss those details later.

Wine and dine at fine restaurant. Maybe go to a movie or go out dancing. Or just hang out at nice bar and chat.
