I enjoy many things in life including walking, cycling, swimming, going to the gym and especially long haul international travel.
I'm well travelled, been to New Zealand 4 times via various destinations including Vancouver, Hong Kong, Singapore, Melbourne & L.A. I've also travelled around America visiting New England, Las Vegas, Calafornia & Florida. Closer to home I've been to Greece (Cyprus, Corfu & Peloponnese) & Portugal (Algarve) and the usual Spanish Islands in my younger days. There are still many places I'd love to visit including Peru to see the Inca trail, India (Taj Mahal), Africa (Safari in Kenya), Vietnam, Cambodia. There are also many places in Europe I'd love to visit including Berlin, Normandy, Brittany and list goes on!!
I'd really like a partner who enjoys travel and exploring new places and sampling different cultures be it just a long weekend in Paris, Rome, Berlin or further afield.

You may have guessed from my profile name that I'm into rugby. I used to play in my younger days but unfortunately picked up a major knee injury but thankfully it doesnt prevent me from doing my favourite excercise which is walking in the surrounding hills where I live. I'm a season ticket holder for Sale Sharks but dont worry if Rugby isn't your sport, I wouldnt dream of imposing it on you.

I'm an expert DIY'er and am 'slowly' renovating my house but keep spending money on trips abroad rather than the house!!!
I love to cook many types of dishes ranging from a Sunday roast to an Indian Curry and can honestly say I never buy a TV dinner and very rarely get a takeaway unless I've been very lazy (mum was a cookery teacher!)
I enjoy fine wine and occasionally attend wine tastings (I have a relative in New Zealand who makes wine, The Darling, which will soon be available in the UK but not from your bog standard supermarket, it's much better than that!)
In my spare time I run a sound mixing desk for various amateur youth theatre groups in the community, which I feel is great especially when the youth of today tends to get bad press.
