A little bit about me... I guess you could say that I've taken the long way here. I'm originally from California, studied in the West Indies for a couple of years, lived for 2 years in the NYC suburbs, spent 3 years in Michigan and now find myself in Brooklyn. It's given me a wealth of experience to draw from, but every day I realize there's something more to learn.

From my travels I've accquired a few interests and hobbies. I learned to enjoy cooking and experimenting with different foods that I find. I love finding an ingredient that I haven't used before and seeing what I can do with it. I've also picked up a taste for live music, especially jazz. Digital photography, museums, Broadway shows, learning to surf, enjoying the outdoors, brushing up on my Spanish, trying new restaurants, exploring the city, so many things... Of course I'm always up for a night on the town and hanging out good friends.

I currently work in an ER in Brooklyn. The job can be rewarding and at the same time it can also be frustrating. It's a interesting contrast sometimes. I'm not one to focus too much on work when I'm outside of it. It's only a small part of who I am.

I'm looking for someone intelligent, educated and independent, but who can also be gentle, sweet and caring . And of course, there's that special something that has to "click" between us... every thing else is probably negotiable ;)
