From the top Maestro, please. *Well traveled, well educated, and well fed. Born in Boston and moved on average once every two years to New York, New Jersey, Maryland, up to Toronto for a year, then all the way down to Florida then out to California for three years. Joined US Navy @ 18 for 3 years active stationed in Pearl Harbour, Hawaii. Traveled across the Pacific, South Pacific and Indian Oceans seeing The Philippines, Korea, Japan, and Western Australia among other places. I got out Honorably at 22 years of age. Took off for Europe with father immediately after that seeing Germany, Austria and Switzerland during Oktoberfest no less. Before 18, during elementary and middle school, traveled to Mexico and the Caribbean including Bermuda, Puerto Rico, St. Martin, St. Croix, Tortola Islands etc...always getting sunburned too! Saw lots of people and their cultures and developed and early "global" awareness and appreciation for my own fortune.
Not surprisingly, I was ready to take a breather so to speak and settle down but found this difficult and was back traveling as a Merchant mariner in the Gulf of Mexico as well as trips to Poland and Africa.
I like technology and gadgets, magazines from "Popular Technology" to "National Geographic" as well as books by Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Robert Ludlum, John Gresham (sp?)and assorted others. I love film and movies and my daughter is a REAL drama queen, acting in performances. She is so smart and beautiful and yet innocently naive. She will far succeed me educationally and professionally I have no doubt!
Musically, I love to hear a variety and am not focused in on any single genre or sound, but I do not like the formulaic girl and/or boy bands such as Brittany Spears or Jonas Brothers crud! I am finding I like more strong and meaningful vocals or folk, but loved Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) and still love Red Hot Chili Peppers.
