Travel, especially to France, is a great love of mine. I don't know why but I feel at home there and am studying to improve my fractured French, having studied Latin and Spanish in school.

Maine in summer is also magnificent: high of 80, low of 60, and the air is sweet. I go for two weeks each summer.

I try to exercise 30-60 minutes every day and am working on being able to see more (or is "some" more accurate?) lines in my abs. Seems I just need to eat less and feel hunger before eating anything.

I have my own business managing money in an investment style I created and my success is not dependent on the stock market going up. It's fun and I've done it for 16 years. Clients become lifetime friends and business is great. I am paid only a fee as a % of client assets and accept no commissions.

My curiosity is unfettered by the bounds of conventional thinking and I enjoy knowing as much about as many things as possible. If it seems beneficial, I want to know about it. Friends say I think for myself and respect all views while having my preferences. I'm neither an arguer or debater.

My primary goal in life is to be with my lifetime partner and soul mate.

In music I like most everything except hard rock and rap. Classical, oldies, and much new popular music are appealing.

I believe there are many ways to God -- Jesus is one and there are many others.

I value freedom and prosperity so, thinking for myself, I favor letting people do what they want as long as they don't hurt others by force or fraud -- a Thomas Jefferson, Milton Friedman view. I'm neither Republican nor Democrat and see most political theatre as being about power rather than the topic at hand. Total federal, state, and local government is 46% of GDP so rapid economic growth is precluded, which has resulted from both parties' actions and was preferrd by Americans. Little of it affects me and the news is entertaining, not upsetting.

I took a cooking class one night a month for 4 years and will cook for you on occasion if you like.

If you work, you enjoy your job.
If you're not into politics, that's great. If you are, you are not angry about it and if you identify with a political party, at least one of your views diverges from your party's -- you think for yourself.
You believe there are many ways to God and that the Bible is not infallible.
