I've been on my own for over three years now and I feel its time to take the plunge and jump out there with all the other people in the same situation. I had no thoughts of ever being alone again. And by the lack of responses I am getting, it seems I am to be alone for a long time....maybe forever. It's no fun going out to eat alone or to a movie alone, but that's the way it is.
Several years ago, I went back to school and got my 2 year degree. I now work with special needs children and I really love what I do and I am good at it.
In my spare time I like to do needle work and watch mystery movies and enjoy my grandchildren. In my younger days, I learned how to fish and paddle a canoe and camp out. I like to swim but must keep my head above water. lol
I like listening to audio books on various subjects.   The old time hymns, Classic country and Christmas music are my favorites.
I am usually easy going, but when necessary, I can hold my own!!! I am a caring and giving person and genunine to a fault at times. I like to hold hands in public, snuggling on the couch while watching a movie, and walking through a park. I like good communication and expect honesty. As I am a giving person, I am looking for the same. I live with my cat Mixy who thinks she is head of the house but does take good care of me. lol  I like the autumn season best when the leaves turn their colors.

I think a casual setting in public maybe for lunch or coffee would be great. It could be decided upon later.
