Ok, so here goes the tough part of things.
Convincing you that you want to contact me and see if we have anything in common is the hard part of this.
So here goes. Other than being a kid at heart and having an insatiable sense of wonder about me, I love photography and want to improve my skills and do more with it. I would not even mind making money with my camera, but that is not necessary.
My goals right now are simple. I want to enjoy the rest of my life and share it with those really good friends and maybe even one very special friend. I have lived a good life and raised 4 daughters, who are 4 of the best friends in the world. Now I just want to enjoy the next 20-30 years. This is MY time. I do not intend to stop working, but I do not want to do it full time ever again. I have recently discovered drumming and now own some ethnic drums, etc. and love playing them. I just got back into running and plan to do a half marathon in December. I enjoy cooking and love baking bread. I just got into making sourdough and artisan breads. In music, I love most types of music, esp Enya. I love new age, classic rock, jazz, classical, Buffett, piano, Bob Marley, caribbean, latin, ethnic. Like I said, I like most types of music (except rap, hip-hop, heavy metal and am not real fond of country but I do like Johnny Cash).
I am not looking for someone to share my bed nor my home as I am quite content to live by myself. I have done so for over 14 years now and I love the solitude that it affords me. Do not get me wrong here. I am open to the idea of a lifetime partner, but I am not seeking one. Most of you probably WANT to stop right here because the rest of this is about me politically and spiritually so consider yourself forewarned. Unless you are ready for the unexpected, DO NOT continue!

Alright, I warned you.....
Politically I am very simple. I believe in the Constitution and the concept that government is not the solution to the problem, it IS the problem.
Spiritually i am pretty complex and yet amazingly simple. If that sounds eastern in nature, so be it. I am very spiritual but I am not religious. I believe that all religions have their intrinsic value and contain a piece of the puzzle, but only a piece. I believe religion and spirituality are not necessarily connected. I am into metaphysics, eastern, native american, ethnics and pagan. That being said, some of my best friends are devout catholics and that is just fine with me.
Anyway... if I have not scared you off yet, we probably ought to get together for lunch or just a walk in the park.
I want someone who I can pamper and can pamper me, who I can love and can love me, who I can bare my soul to and who will reciprocate, who I can be honest with and who will be honest with me (regardless of the cost). I want someone who can hang out at the farmer's market by day in jeans (or shorts) and a t-shirt and be the Lady to her Gentleman for dinner that evening. Are you getting the picture? And speaking of pictures, you must include one or more of you to get a reply from me, after all, if we had met in real life, I would already know what you look like!

It is not the venue that is important, it is the person with whom I share the occasion. That being said, lunch or just a walk in the park on a warm morning, afternoon or evening would be great. A glass of wine in the early evening or just a cup of tea (or coffee) shared at a sidewalk table outside of Starbucks. Like I said, it is not the venue but the person that is important!
