I have a 4 yr. business degree but work as an electrician. I'm good with my hands. I try to be reasonable, pragmatic and considerate of others. Your opinion matters and I'll meet you half way. If need be, I'll fight for you, but not with you. I like romance, not drama. I have no use for silly little girls. I prefer grown women and treat them as such. I like to camp, take day trips, try new restaurants around town or new recipies at home (I'm a good cook),have dinner parties, work on the house or yard, shoot pool and watch football. I used to be a partier, but walked away from that lifestyle years ago. I listen to National Public Radio most of the time in the car, but like classic rock and roll. I'm a nice guy who uses a good sense of humour to make up for not looking like Brad Pitt. I stay active, so I haven't gone to seed yet. I smoke, but am trying to quit. Keep falling off the wagon. A non smoker would be a good influence and futher incintive to stop since I won't smoke around her. People usually guess my age at 40 something, not 50 plus. As to my future goals, when the economy picks up, I want to get into alternate energy. I'm a forward thinking person and pretty green in my attitudes. I would like to make a living in an industry I believe in, using my degree and my license rather than just holding down a job.

As to a first date, that depends on what she likes. Drinks or coffee would be good, but what's important is the opportunity to get to know each other. Once I know what her particular interest's are, I'll come up with something more interesting.
