The strange thing is, every time I think of an adjective that I think describes me, I realize that the opposite is true also. I guess that's the way people are. (or is it just me!?) I'm very caring and considerate, but also have a self-centered side. I'm really easy-going and comfortable to be with (so I've been told). Balance that with bouts of stubborness and crabiness. I have a great sense of humor, which has played a large part in the success of my artwork. Speaking of artwork, Just got back from grad school with an MFA under my hat. Now it's time to be an artist, and maybe a professor. In the next year I will have solo gallery shows in Chicago and New Orleans. This is the next step in a plan to shift my career from designer to artist. Everything's going fantastic, but there is a lot of ground to cover before I call the shift a complete success. I would love to find someone to share my journey. An artist or other creative type would be great. Someone who can be a creative collaborator, can push me back on track when I've derailed, and for whom I can do the same. Intelligence is very important, as is self-awareness and an air of being genuine. You care for others without loosing yourself, you can laugh and cry at the same time, and you can dress up or down without pretense.

I think first dates should be simple meetings in a place where conversation is possible. Coffee, lunch, the park, or casual dinner.
