Hi there! At the pond! Not sure what bait to use. I am a professional male who loves kids and in a related profession. I have been fortunate in that I have travelled extensively. The end result being is that I love meeting people, I appreciate the country I live in and believe that the only footprints that are important is the one one we leave on people's hearts and the environment.
My hope/goal is to have our young people (my son especially), be accepting of other cultures and be proactive with regards to the preservation of our environment.
Myself, I enjoy each and every day. I don't take living for granted, but I most certainly don't dwell on the negative. I firmly believe that life to a large degree is what you make of it. When life gives you lemons, I prefer to make lemonade.

I believe first dates are what you make of them. The initial meeting may be filled with a touch of apprehension and anticipation. Humor is a great opener. Many times I have laughed at myself and situations. Maybe its just me, but I believe people wouldn't make the move to the pond and cast a line if they weren't hoping for a bite, or a the very least a nibble.
To me a first date is a lot like fishing. What has one got to lose? One doesn't know until one tries.
A walk, a beverage, a movie, dinner,.... what ever. If you find the proverbial bait not to your liking, throw me back in! Having been caught is stiil one step better than remaining in the pond.
Having said this,I believe for the most part, laughter,good conversation and meeting new people is worth the cast. What about you?
