I am a Licensed/Certified K-9 Trainer and own my own Obedience school. I Love training with my friends in Controlled aggression,Bitework)and tracking. We train in a similiar Police style fashion. But,our methods,I believe are much more effective in the 'control' of the dog,and,his bite.
I enjoy working with owners and their dogs and helping them understand the way a 'canine' thinks,and,receive great satisfaction in seeing the results/difference in the behaviour between owner/dog and the respect and companionship change for the better.
I am not looking for a man that has the intense interest I do in dogs. Only to respect my interest,and,have a genuine love of the K-9 animal. Iwould respect his interest,as,I would want him to respect mine.
I am good with animals of all kinds. Horses,I have studied Wolves in the wild,they take to me,naturally.
I have also started working with my friend/partner at the 'Veterans Hospital,at the Naval station,located in tacoma,helping injured Vets in mind and body with their dogs/obedience. It's very rewarding.
I also train Service/Therapy dogs for the general public. This is also rewarding,as well.
I own two German Shepherd Dogs.One is the female I describe,above. My other is a retired Protection dog,trained by me and my partner. He actually saved my life a few years ago. I am anxious to get my next male Shepherd to Protection train!

I enjoy photography and have had the joy of being published in three top National Dog Magazines,for my work('Dog World,Dog Fancy,and,Schutzhund USA). I also do a lot of,hiking to get these shots,and,it's a hobby and a way of relaxing,staying in shape and enjoying the NorthWest.
In my earlier years I modeled for some of the top fashion magazines.I left the business,because it is very cut-throat,mean spirited,and,all about,clothes,and money. Nobody,really cared about anyone. I,could not personally,continue,in that life style.
I LOVE,NICE CLOTHES,dressing up,a night on the town,looking beautiful-and waking up to my man,,lazing around,when I can.
Than,going out and gett'in DOWN AND DIRTY,with my K-9's,and,my K-9 friends! Nothing better,than having that K-9 come at me,full charge,hard,and hit'in hard on that sleeve,so I can turn and drive him!! Than "Controlled Obedience",which few pro's know or do/see. :)

I clean up really nice,can look beautiful for a night on the town.

By this time.I have probably eliminated most of you with all my K-9 talk/tomboy attitute. But,it's who I am. And,I am not going to change,or be something for someone,to make THEM,happy.(I have already gone down that road,it doesn't work.) I want to either Both be happy,or,I will continue,alone. It's got to be right,or it's just not worth it,to either person. Everyone, deserves happiness,love,and,most of all,peace,in life. I believe,I am finally,finally,beginning to understand what it actually feels like. You have to 'be alone',and,then you actually figure it out. And,I finally,have. I am a very sensitive person,and,at times take things to heart and let them really get to me. When I say this,I am very close to my dogs,and,any time they pass it is truly a big dissruption in my life. (Like a death in the family). Some of you may understand,and,I realize others,won't. Afterall,it's 'just a dog'right'? If,this is your attitude,you can keep scrolling onto the next 1000 girls-I am NOT going to be someone you would want to be with.
I an emotional about many things,but,they are realistic,and,honest. I don't hide from my emotions,and/or feelings. If,I have to do that,it's a relationship that will end in failure. I believe in being the person I am. And,I think caring about others/animals,and,feeling there pain,is a GOOD thing,not a fault. And,you should understand it,and,futher have the compassion to at least respect my feelings.

I am not big on e-mailing fifteen times back and forth. If you want to meet someone,I say just get it overwith. Why waste all the time e-mailing each other when you might see each other and want to run? Or,see each other,again? All I EXPECT IS HONESTY FROM THE START. I have meant several men that put up 'fronts,'and,than when we get to know each other,their 'true side,'issues'come out. I can't deal with 'anger management' problems,drinking problems,drug problems,basically,your baggage..I can handle my own,thank You. I don't need to be with any guy that doesn't respect a woman,has anger issues,etc...Please,take it somewhere other than here,with me. It's a big waste of time. I like you. Than you turn into Jeckle & hyde. EVERYONE,has baggage. If,you have lived to be my age,you have to have some baggage. It's HOW you DEAL with it,that matters. I am so tierd of hearing,'I don't want anyone with baggage.' Give,me a break,if you have lived life long enough,and,haven't picked up any 'baggage'you deserve a medal as a 'perfect' person. And,people just are not perfect. I don't care how smart you are,what your I.Q.is. Living in life,brings along baggage. How you deal with YOUR baggage,is all that matters. my life is far from perfect,and,I cannot imagine yours is either. It is just all in how you find the 'humor' in what life throws at us. If you have lived to be my age,you have had to survived a few 'issues.' It's all in how one deals with those 'issues.problems,baggage,garbage,crap,that you want to believe someone is throwing at you.' :)~
The true 'test' of living and loving,in life......
Then go look at your parents...do you really have ANYTHING to complain about? Or,a Veteran of war,with one leg,in a wheel chair,laughing,playing basketball.... Or training his dog with me and loving ever minute...

But,I am really more of a 'tomboy' at heart. I love working the dogs,riding horses,goofy off,and,just plan don't mind getting dirty,to work and have fun! I love taking trips east of the mountains,with the dogs,camping out,and,seeing the wildlife. It's my favorite way to get 'natural' shot's of the animals,in their own world,and,I am so at peace with myself. (And,no,I don't need a bag of makeup and a curling iron.It's nice to find a stream to wash your face and make coffee,though!)
But,I do love,'Jazz Alley', good,live music,and,fun on the town!

Than,when we are all done,we 'load 'em up,and head on home,feeling good about another successful day! I have a young German Shepherd Dog that I have Trained as Service/Therapy Dog/Arson Detection/and just finished here Cadaver Training.

Then there is the enjoyment of a good glass of wine. I use to sell it and really appreciate relaxing in the evening or afternoon with a nice glass of Vino.

And,maybe I need a glass now,because ya'all keep telling me I am 'way to serious'on this whole profile,thing! (But,I am not writing it over. It's basically a 'short story',by 'Paula .....',now. So,you guys will have to just deal with my seriousness and silliness,it cannot possible be that painful,and,some of it is,'lesso

First date-Basically I think meeting for a drink. First, speaking,obviously,on the phone.! Meeting at a restuarant/bar for a drink and,talking for a short while. Seeing were it goes from there. I enjoy a glass of wine,(after selling it)and,hopefully,having a relaxing conversation.

Nobody wants to feel 'stuck' for a long period of time if there is no interest,right? You have to have CHEMISTRY,TO HAVE FUN! And,I have learned,it takes more than ONE date,in fact several,before you start to really see a person for who they truly are. Even,then,people still put up fronts and can be deceptive,to continue a relationship/friendship. ( I should not say all...but,it's human nature to to show 'your' best side.'
