I am looking for a long-term partner but I'm happy to meet people on dates and as friends, talk on the phone and on email (although I've got RSI through 11 years of using a computer for work (and now friends!)I'm on a social networking site and I'm amazed at the amount of friend requests which is very nice but it is very nice to email first. But it was lovely chatting to the people I have already.

A first date - well in this weather a picnic probably. Or the cinema if it rains, or art gallery. I guess chatting is necessary so no gig (loud music) but another type of concert might be ok. And a meal out beforehand would be good.
