Thanks for stopping by. I've been told I look and act a lot younger than I am. I don't know how my hair got gray. Probably all the wisdom I've accumulated. I'm a down-to-earth, easy-going, optimistic, confident (without being arrogant), funny, affectionate, intelligent, adventurous and irreverent. I enjoy exploring new places. Love traveling.

My favorite place to be is on a beach, even when it's cold (boogie boarding in the summer). I also like hiking in the woods, mountains or desert (like Southern California or Arizona) or just doing something fun outdoors on a sunny day. I've done a little bit of a lot of things - skiing, fishing, sailing, scuba diving and horseback riding to name a few.

When the weather isn't cooperating, I enjoy museums, movies, theater or just reading a good book, especially historical fiction.

I'm hooked on acting and perform in local community theater. I've written a few short stories that have been published in magazines no one's ever heard of, paint, draw and take bad pictures. I'm a big Yankee fan and also enjoy watching a good game of football once in a while. I workout, run/walk to stay in shape. I like most music but particularly jazz, classic rock, big band and 60s oldies.

Life is what you make it. I've experienced its highs and lows and everything in between. I accept what is and what isn't. While everyone has baggage (whether they admit it or not), I believe mine is minimal. I can't change the past other than to let go of it. And the future, as much as we plan is really anybody's guess so why worry about it?

I'm looking for a special woman to share new experiences, be my best friend, companion and lover. They say opposites attract but I'll take my chances and ask for someone with mostly similar interests, someone who is easy-going and down-to-earth. Warmth, honesty, compassion and a great sense of humor are also on the list. You don't have to be drop dead gorgeous but being attractiveness and intelligence are both good things.
