That's how I try to live my life. I'm quite a curious person and constantly seek out new challenges and try to understand all I can about the world and what it means to be human. I do this by reading, studying, writing, watching films and traveling to new places and meeting new people who fascinate me with their stories and experiences. Travel is something that constantly makes me rethink how I view the world, which is a good thing. I enjoy solving problems and being creative in life and my job (making films). I'm constantly thinking about how things work and how they could work better. That's why I both love politics and hate it at the same time. I have a very liberal outlook on things, but I lean toward looking for long term solutions instead of a quick fix. I like the arts and seek out museums and the theater often. One of my biggest joys is finding great new music. I love live music, and truly enjoy hearing a great band live. Outdoor activities keep me in shape like running, playing Ultimate Frisbee, snowboarding, hiking and rock climbing. I do have a lot of interests and I keep pretty busy most of the time, but I definitely need my alone time to unwind. My favorite thing to do is to get into a good stimulating conversation. I sometimes like to argue, can be a bit sarcastic at times and love to exchange witty banter, but I'm very open minded and will work very hard trying to understand your point of view. At heart, I'm a very generous and loving person.

Music: I think musical taste really tells says something about a person at a basic level. I tend to get along well with people who like similar music and can't relate to those who like "awful" music, or are happy with listening to the same tired bands they listened to in school. So ... my favorite music is a quite diverse collection of things. The music I like is quite eclectic and spans many genres. Films: I love film. As an independent film maker and writer, I have an eye for the offbeat, but love an eclectic bunch of films. I try to attend the Sundance and Telluride film festivals every year. A film I made was in a festival last year in Georgia.
