I am a PhD student at Nottingham Uni in physical chemisty, but I'm an astronomer at heart. Space is still the place. I do all sorts of stuff. I read a lot, I write fiction and paint and draw. I enjoy clubbing to drum and bass and also love putting on a suit and going to the opera. I try to play squash and jog when time permits, generally I am in good phyiscal shape. Love all types of music, classical, rock, metal, alternative, dance, jazz, blues... the list goes on and to name favourite bands would imply prejudices I don't possess as they all have something to offer. I will always help a friend, even at my own detriment, there's little I won't do to help those I care about out.

What I would like to do for a first date - a credit card, a train station, a random destination and see where life takes us and do whatever we find to do there. The best experiences in my life have been spontaeous.
