Okay. So this is my first time ever doing this online and apparently my first profile was very dry, unoriginal, and just plain boring according to my sister (Yes, she peer edited my profile). It's time to spice things up a bit and explain to you in my own words why I am actually a very unique and intriguing man.

Have you ever seen the Dos Equis commercials? The ones with "The Most Interesting Man in the World?" Where the overly tanned white haired guy tells you to stay thirsty? I seriously find myself to be more interesting than him. Similarly, I have never lost a sock, my shirts never wrinkle, and I have been known to cure narcolepsy just by walking into the room. Also, my organ donation card does list my beard and I did manage to teach my German Shepard to speak Spanish.

Okay, now that I have your attention I would hate to bore you by stringing together line after line of adjectives in an attempt to paint a wonderful picture of myself. So I'm going to be as blunt and to the point as I always am in life. I laugh a ton, I joke a ton, I love my work and my friends, and I love to play after work is done. I played ice hockey for a large portion of my life and I still love to lace up the skates and tear up the pond in the winter. I would love to be able to take a girl ice skating sometime now that it's getting to be fall! I enjoy horseback riding in the sunset on the beaces of Lake Michigan and dreaming about what new adventures tomorrow will bring. I'm really still a kid at heart and enjoy every minute of life. Although I take my work seriously, work stays at work and then I'm back to my normal care free self.

You can really say that I never grew up. If someone spilled a box of legos in front of me, I would probably be entertained for a while. Sometimes I draw cartoons because I have a knack for artsy stuff like that. I have a passion for drawing political cartoons. I also love to scream at the TV when I'm watching sporting events or even when Lou Dobbs or Sean Hannity is on. I just can help myself sometimes.

I am an avid movie watcher and I love to stay up late when I can. I sometimes cry when I watch movies and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I cried like a baby wanting it's binkie when I saw Black Hawk Down and most recently when I watched Wall-E. Damn, there's something about that movie and robot romance that just makes you tear up.

The type of woman that I'm looking for is a mix between thrill-seeker, book worm, and couch potato. You aren't afraid to rock climb, ride a horse, sky dive, or go ice skating, but you're intelligent and won't get annoyed if I say something unintentionally stupid. Plus you'd be down to stay in some nights with a bottle of wine and watch a movie or two late into the night. You are also as curious about the world around you as I am. You can take a joke and fire one back at me without being easily offended. You also believe that sarcasm is just another facet of life. You can spell, read, hold intelligent conversation, and are generally happy with yourself and your life!

I think getting a coffee and walking around to talk would be great just to get to know one another. I moved to the Chicago area about two weeks ago from Washington, DC because of work, so I really have no idea where ANYTHING is... Someone help me! Haha.
