Just a random sampling of things that have happened in my life so far.

I've driven a go-kart UNDER a pick-up truck while the back of the car was in flames. I was 11 and the test pilot for my brother's lawnmower/race car monstrosity.

For many years, I was part of the Marine Corps as a special forces medic. One time myself and 4 others were accidentally drug off a mountain edge by a helicopter. That wasn't necessarily in the plan as I recall. But hey, in 11 years of service...it could have been a less fortunate outcome, so I am happy.

I am a grounded, but fun-loving fella that relocated to the Southbay not that long ago. My previous career required extended travel and is what brought me here, but now I am very stable in the SouthBay and seeking the same. I've lived in 20 or so other cities around the world so meeting someone with travel experience or interest in accumulating some is important common ground. As a couple, we would both like to see exotic locations and experience new cultures during time off.

I am a very considerate, supportive and nurturing person. Still, I really like "can-do" people. I like someone that can problem solve and plan out a little bit of their future at least. You would definitely have an adventurous streak though, since I do... and a fun personality but we'd be past the drink all night every night phase of life since we both are looking for a relationship of substance rather than just a flash. Dancing in the urbans and checking out an odd event in the City...that would be something we'd do regularly I bet. SF is a vibrant place that I truly love but my career does often require me to be within an hour on-site response distance just "in case" ...just a FYI. I could spend time in the city, that is for sure since I love it, however unless something drastic changes...I am likely going to root in the Southbay/San Jose area.

We would like experiencing the wonders of the great outdoors (my background as a eagle scout bleeds through even today...) just as much as traveling to new places in the world thanks our good friends at Orbitz and Priceline.

Who are YOU?
I'd rather be with a vivacious and loyal woman rather than one than one with no spirit and oomph. We'd like the comfy, lazy and cozy companion weekdays but also like to mix it up life with adventure tourism. White water rafting? Driving donuts in the parking lot? A bit of mischief? Count me in! I must admit, I enjoy a person with positive energy and enthusiasm even in the daily routines. Someone with verve and that is at heart joyful about future possibilities.

Keep in mind, long term values and real goals to raise a family together will be quite important in our future, so while I like thrill...there's no Peter Pan syndrome here. If you are positive never want children...or you are not really interested in a LTR that could lead to marriage...you should pass me by. I definitely don't want to rush, but I don't want a half-ass a relationship either. I am my own person and looking for same. I am on here sincerely looking for true companionship and love when that happens. I'd like a comfortable, easy going and low stress sort of relationship that just comes naturally. You too??? Amazing coincidence huh!!!???

Truth is, I'm just a great guy who's looking for a fun start based in friendship and then see where it goes. Things that catch my attention are boldness, creativity and passion. Maybe it's your love of indie movies, your toy horse collection or the fact that you moved across country with only a duffel bag -- it doesn't matter. The right woman is not only fascinating but also brings out the best in me.

So...be brave enough to meet someone new and get in touch. We only have around 15, 000 days left in our lives. How would YOU want to spend it?

For fun:
Typical as well as extraordinary adventures. Cultural events, performance and visual arts, dancing, learning, music. It should be obvious by my photos that I love seeing new places local or abroad.

My job:
I am a fortune teller. I can look into your heart and predict the future...

My religion:
I like learning about religions of all sorts and their history. Being raised in the Christian tradition as a child has given me moral foundation. I am not judgemental nor do I like being the target of an evangelist. Live and let live.

My education:
To me, street savvy gets you further in life than most academics. Luckily, I managed to accumulate a smattering of both. I am a eager student of life.

Favorite things:
I would like to start taking some classes such as cooking, salsa dancing, or guitar. I don't watch much tv at all but have seen 1000 movies by now I am sure. I usually like biopics more than fluff movies.

My pets:
Early life was happily spent on a dairy farm. I love being around or caring for animals big or small because of this influence. I have no pets of my own, but quickly adopt passerby pups for at least a few moments.... ;)
