So who am I? I like adventure! I've bungee-jumped in Acapulco, Mexico. I've spent a summer learning how to sky dive, finding out the landing is the tricky part, ouch! In the summer my friends and I venture up into Wisconsin to master the mighty Wolf River for our annual rafting trip. In the winter we head up to my friends cabin for a weekend of snowmobiling and skiing. I did the Polar Plunge into Lake Michigan in March to raise money for the Special Olympics. The water was a warm 32 degrees, burrrr!

Winter is upon us..we are starting to plan our trip to Michigan where we ride snowmobiles and sing kareokee (can someone tell me how to spell Kereokee?) in a red neck bar. So much fun. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder. So if you want to warm up and have a laugh, just give me a ring...a holler..a quick note...a friendly hello, you get the picture.

On my own time I enjoy a midmorning bike ride along the lake front or through a neighborhood looking for new bars and restaurants to visit. I enjoy going out on the weekends during the day to street fests. In the evenings it’s out tasting food at the restaurants I spotted on my bike ride or off with friends listening to our favorite bands. Every weekend night does not have to be spent out and about. I also like to stay home on weekends to watch a good movie and relax. If you are looking for that guy who comes home and watches sports on TV all weekend keep searching. I do enjoy going to a Cubs game several times during the summer. I am also a parrot head. I have to say I enjoy acting younger then the normal 39 year old.

O.K., Here are some thoughts about what I am looking for in a partner:
she would be: optimistic, witty/funny, perceptive, intelligent and articulate, emotionally healthy, respectful, compassionate and kind-hearted, financially responsible, a good communicator, open-minded, romantic, sensual and passionate. I look for a very open minded person when it comes to finding the right person. I have a thing for a girl in glasses...

I'm just kidding. First dates with me consist of me being: polite, responsive, courteous, a listener and a person with a wealth of conversation. I will comment on your thoughts and challenge you where need be. I am out with you to learn about YOU. The best places I find to get to know each other more is: spending a few hours at a museum in the city or maybe a kayak trip in the East lagoon in Lincoln Park. Whatever the activity, it really does not matter. I believe it is more about getting to know one another. Cheesy huh. But true.

Make it through the first date with me and wanting a second? Personalities start to come through at this point. You laughing at something I say or me telling you that you have something hanging from the tip of you nose. Yes, I will even tell you that you have something stuck between your teeth if we are out eating dinner. If common courtesy is not given at the beginning then what can you build on, right? Honesty and loyalty is the backbone of my structure. Without it I have nothing to stand up to. I am an extremely open minded person that may toss factual tidbits at you about your opinion but will never tell you that you are 100% wrong. Remember it is your opinion.

I have a career that I enjoy but it does not define my life or take up my personal time. I am always planning for the weekend or my next vacation. Being in sales most my career has helped me venture to places when no one else could go. I am the all around guy who has no extreme tendencies. I can’t rattle off sport stats but enjoys going to a Cubs game. I love riding my bike around the city but will not join the Chicago bike club. I know what my family is doing most of the time without having to see them everyday. I am independent and somewhat of a clean freak, but I don’t over do it.

I enjoy my time with my significant other. I am always there to make her smile or keep her pleased anyway I can.
