About Me
Everything I say I mean... and I usually say what I'm thinking. I lack a filter about 86% of the time. I'm very low-maintenance but my interests are diverse and I'm passionate about the things that bring me happiness...
I'm currently assessing my career choices, deciding whether the military is worth continued effort, and I'm a student of philosophy.
Feel free to send a message if there's an inkling of desire... lol No seriously, I am mostly interested in meeting a woman who is intellectually stimulating and can beat me in a mental race. I want to be surrounded by people I can learn from and a smart driven woman who I share mutual attraction with would be great.

Q: Why are you on this site?
A: Please dont ask this... the same reason MOST people are... and I think I've sufficiently described what I'm looking for.
Q: How long have you been in the Army?
A: I've been serving in the Army since May of 2002 and I am still currently in the National Guard, however I am waiting on a medical discharge due to a roadside bomb in Iraq that I was hit by and consequently injured. I returned from my last deployment in February of 2009... I'm home now.
Q: Where are you stationed?
A: I'm not... You report to a "unit" in your local area in the National Guard typically. I report to a unit in Pine Bluff AR because I haven't transferred to the Texas National Guard yet... coming soon... if my medical discharge doesn't happen first.
Q: Oh, you were injured... any scars or anything?
A: Yes, small superficial scars, nothing major... my neck, lower-back, right knee, and ankle all had torn ligaments or musculature. I'm nearly fully recovered now though and back to running 2-3x's a week. Nothing in my day to day is hindered as a result of the injuries. *wink*

What I would do?
Probable: Something cliche and at my expense... (which is alright i have no problem being a "gentleman.")
Improbable: Something exotic and at HER expense... lol.
Ideal: Let's go do something FREE and exciting. Or grab a cup of coffee/frappe/beer and chat till the ice has thoroughly been broken.
