I know, I know, Christmas is a little way off, but it will be here faster than you know. I am a huge fan of the entire holiday season and it would really be nice to have someone to enjoy it all with. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years -- I'm an equal opportunity holiday lover, so don't be surprised if I drag you along to see the tree at Rockefeller Center or some other equally corny holiday inspired activity.

Other than my love of the holidays, I'm a pretty laid back fun-loving gal. I can go with the flow, but have been called a firecracker before...probably because of my tendency to be sarcastic/playful/an all around pain-in-the-butt (but in the best way possible of course). Like most other people on this thing, I'm not entirely comfortable writing this long story about how great I am (even if it is true!), though I do promise that I am way more fun and interesting than this whole thing probably makes me sound!

While I am career oriented and pretty driven to succeed at work, at the end of the day work is just work and is really a means to an end in that it allows me the financial freedom to enjoy life outside of work. Outside of work I like to read (I try to mix real literature in with the murder, mysteries and occasional chick lit), plan random activities with my friends, travel and am not ashamed to admit that DVR is my friend. I enjoy live music, but am not the most up-to-date as far as my iTunes goes. I have varied and eclectic tastes and I love going to concerts. I recently saw Pearl Jam out in Chicago and just saw David Gray a couple weekends ago. I like going to sporting events, but don't usually make it a point to watch games on TV.

I could ramble on here all day and still not feel like I've really given you a good picture of who I am and what I'm about, so I guess you're going to have to take a leap of faith here and decide if you want to get to know me better. I'm looking for a decent sort of human being (hey, I'm no saint, but I do try to treat others as I'd like to be treated), who is fun, interested in at least some of the same things I am and who has his own life outside of trying to find a decent, fun and intriguing girl. So, what do you say?
