I'm a fun loving man interested in making some new friends. I like art and history museums. I enjoy the beach and most water sports. Especially sailing, both cruising and racing. I like most kinds of music and I have an iTunes library with 3k+ selections, old and new, from Beethoven to the Dwarves. I enjoy movies but, I generally prefer DvDs at home rather than the theaters.

I have a quick, sharp wit and love making people laugh and being made to laugh. With little motivation I'm usually the life of the party. As far as what others have said about me: A friend's mother once called me a hellion. She said it with such kindness in her tone(almost admiration) that I had to take it as a compliment. A very dear lady friend, whom I've known for years, once introduced me to some of her friends as a polymath. Yeah, I had to look it up later. It means a renaissance man. And that I was a man in touch with his inner child. Referring to my boyish charm and zest for life. Um....yeah....Thats it! Thats the ticket!

First dates should be about getting to know one another. Very casual and low pressure. Where you go and what you do really is unimportant, as long as the surroundings are conducive to conversation. Coffee houses are generally good. Drinks after work maybe. Depending on comfort levels, I do enjoy dinner dates for their conversation but, finding quiet restaurants that you can have a conversation in are getting harder to find these days. If things are going well, perhaps a walk after dinner to continue the conversation.
