I am a rather shy but kind hearted young at heart lady who loves the arts. In my youth I studied ballet, singing and music and only had to give up tap dancing recently when arthritis started to set in. I joined a group singing operas and performed in the chorus of several shows and concerts. I love the theatre, ballet or opera by preference, but also enjoy the 'oldies' like Helen Shapiro, Demis Roussos and the Shadows. I own several full length operas on CD and can easily get lost in them. I have done University courses on Creative Writing and enjoy writing for children and am doing an autobiography of my life as a nurse. I am also studying French to an advanced level with the University of Kent.
I am looking for a special someone to share good times with, conversations, sharing life experiences, interests. Above all I need someone I can be open with and who I can trust.
If I find him and he is the right one, then who knows what will happen?

I would love an outing to a theatre, but as it is not condusive to conversation a lunch date would probably be better. A smallish restaurant would be nice, with guaranteed good food and pleasant ambiance. There we could enjoy a chat and learn a little about each other.
