**UPDATE** - I quit smoking!!! That was the hardest thing I've had to do in a long time...

I'm an independent guy who has a real job that he loves. Yes ladies, I get out of bed in the morning and actually go to work.

Oh wait, back up... I forgot to mention I shower before I head to office. That's pretty important you know. This way my co-workers don't mind if I show up either. :)

I have an amazing daughter who is paramount in my life and I honestly believe I'm the luckiest father in the world. Trust me, she's not your average teen. You'll see what I mean when you meet her...

OK, enough of the sappy stuff, do you want to go camping? I mean it has to start somewhere so we'd best make sure you can handle yourself in a tent. It's a nice tent. Air mattresses are a must these days as I'm not quite the 15 year old boy scout I once was. Close, but not 100%. ;-)

I like thunderstorms and honesty, music and movies, and a beer on a patio on a sunny day. If I'm starting to sound too wussy, then I apologize. I'm actually not. In fact, I'm just a confident guy who knows where he's going and wouldn't mind having the right someone to join in on the journey.

Let's face it. The number one cause of divorce is marriage. I'm not looking to run you down to Vegas for a quickie, but I'm also not going to shut the idea of a long term relationship completely out of my mind either. Isn't this what we're really on here for anyway? Well, except for those girls that "say" they're looking for dating or long term and then you find out they're just trying to find the intimate encounters. That's not what I'm on here for. As I said before, I'm independent. But it would be nice to share time with that special someone...

Which leads me to state the following: I'm not into sharing a woman with another guy. Not at the same time and not on alternate evenings. I'm fairly monogamous that way. I SMS text but I don't want that to be the only form of communication I have with you. The phone works as a voice device too ya know and I'm not here to find a chat partner or IM partner.

So, if your profile says "dating" then you should mean that you want to make plans to spend time going on a date. If you just want a chat partner, that's not me. I like to do stuff, go places, show off my new friend in public... If it says "long term" on your profile, then you'll have to wait until I can afford the ring... :D

I don't do clubs but I do like pubs. Freckles are cool if you've got some, and I've always been attracted to really long legs for some reason. ;-)

So if going out or spending time together with a fun person who's got their "poop in a group" (so to say) is what you're looking for, drop me a line. You'll likely be surprised rather than disappointed.

What to do on a first date? Sheesh!! I hardly know you!!! I'm open to anything non-stressful... How about a walk somewhere? Park? Beach?
