I'm a fun and outgoing, yet laid back guy that is content with where he is in life. I am equally at home on a campsite(well a night or two anyway..lol) as I am in a fine dining restaurant. I am very active and enjoy keeping physically fit, yet can easily relax on a beach, in front of a fire with a good friend, or wherever the occasion may be.

I lead a healthy lifestyle and go to the gym regularly. I'm not a gym freak, but I do spend three to four days a week, an hour or so each time, with weight training. It keeps me looking and feeling the best I can. It's also important to me that a companion is similarly inclined, likes physical fitness and takes care of themselves as well as leading a healthy and active lifestyle.

I love to travel, immersing myself totally in a new culture. Photography goes along with that, capturing the images along the way. I love long drives and road trips, even a day trip to a new and possibly exciting place I haven't yet discovered.
I'm a very open minded person, and don't let prejudices get in the way of learning new things.

I can be a little crazy and spontaneous at times, all in good fun and as the company warrants. I have no problem letting loose and indulging in a night of dance and spontaneity, and am looking for the same. Being self employed, I am able to enjoy a lot of free time, being on a schedule is not as important to me as making sure I eventually get things done. So yeah, I make sure I'm having fun along this path called life, and make sure my work doesn't get in the way of that... whether it be an extended stay out of country or just spending an extra day with an awesome person.

I don't watch much TV, I prefer the company of a real person to a black box, although I do enjoy a good movie or listening to some great music. Speaking of which...my musical taste run the gamut from techno to folk, and I really enjoy catching a live band playing some great Maritime music. Country has to be the only musical genre I don't particularly enjoy.

-have my PADI diver certification
-love all animals
-love skiing, skating, beach sports, gym sports, many things like deep sea diving, rock climbing, auto racing, kayaking, etc...that I don't do now or only did a few times(but would love to get back into them again)
-I'll do ANYTHING once


What am I looking for? Friends first...someone to have a good time with, no pressure, and see where it goes from there. Not looking to jump right into a relationship, just to experience some great chemistry with like minded individuals.

Hmmmm...a first date. I guess that really depends on the person I'm with and the time we have to enjoy each others' company. For a quick "get to know you", having appetizers and a drink or two in a quiet corner of a nice street cafe/restaurant would be a good start. Or perhaps just a walk around our beautiful waterfront boardwalk for some casual conversation and a bit of exploring the downtown shops.

In the summer, a picnic at one of our great parks or the beach sounds just about perfect.
