| | Why am I here? Well, it seems that with some couples, you become less passionate with time. I'm in a committed relationship, but the commitment seems nearly platonic! So, here I am, signing up so I can look around without getting booted off every couple clicks.... I see there are others like me. In the same boat so to speak. It's interesting this website has a nautical theme, I love the water, I love the outdoors, sailing, hiking, the beach, sunshine, laughter, a fine box o wine, ha ha ha.
My taste in music belies my age. I like alternative rock, which might not be many people's (plastic) cup of tea (or fine boxed wine).
Who am I looking for? Well, that's a tough question. I'm looking for someone who's in the same boat I'm in and who can understand why I'm here without hurling epithets at me. Needs, coupled with the realization of the passage of time, can make people choose directions they might have sworn off in previous years, but that now seem somehow tolerable, as long as no one else gets hurt in the process. I'm not looking to upset anyones apple cart (or dinghy), I'm only looking to give someone who is in need what she lacks and in turn receive from her what I lack. Together we can try to complete each others to-do list, and maybe have a few laughs in the process, but hopefully many laughs in the process. I'm looking for only one person, it would be too time consuming to do this with more than one person, and would not be my preference anyhow. I would be looking for someone with the same intent.
Although I am mature in every way, I'm probably going to feel more in tune with someone a little younger than myself (as evidenced by my musical tastes), although for every rule there is an exception.
So if you think we are at opposite ends of the same boat, let me know. The boat we're in is a sailboat by the way.
I am sure we all know that adding a photo is critical for success! But for now, I'll just supply one on request. Maybe in time I'll add one. I am told I'm quite the attractive guy, and that came from someone half my age who is not visually impaired! |

It has been some time. . .
I'd like for us to go somewhere public but quiet, bright but calming, someplace green or near the water. Maybe we'd know one another's likes or dislikes by then, I think a simple picnic lunch or snack, and most importantly a chance to talk. |
