Dating vs. long term... seems dating sometimes gets confused with boottie call and it's not that I'm after... so that leaves long term... find a friend, start dating and hopefully that leads to long term... make sense?

I'm into anything having to do with outdoor / sporting activities... playing more than watching. "Typical" sports aren't what I've really poured myself into but I'll try just about anything once, love what I love but have no regrets having tried any I have. Life's what you make of it and the bad just helps amplify the good. My favorite thing, activity wise, is introducing someone (or lots of someones) to something I love doing and seeing them push themselves, love it or hate it, and be proud of themselves / jazzed about what they just did... makes memories that last, for all of us.

Some people think I'm funny, I know I'm not always... I'm definetly a goofball on a regular basis... Love to make kids laugh... I know, all to well, how to be serious when it's needed and know how to listen..ask questions to make sure I understand and, hopefully can make some difference for who I'm listening to.

I'll read just about anything that's put in front of me when I have down time. I often get 'lost' inside the pages and can't wait to pick a good book back up to find out what coming next. For the most part I'd rather do it than read about it though so find this a great resource for something new to come.

I'm lucky to have traveled quite a bit and can't wait for the next trip to find me... really great would be to have someone to come along to experience it with me. I'm equally comfortable in the five star hotel or the 6 man tent, on a beach or at the peak of a mountain. UPDATE - MAUI 2010 - one of my favorites!

Staying fit is important to me (I forgot for a little while) and prefer the outdoors to the gym but am willing to learn my way around one. Mountain Biking and Skiing have been huge in my life as a way to get out and get fit and continue to be favorites.

I love to people watch and am comfortable when meeting new people. I speak well and have no problem expressing myself, my ideas or my feelings.

As far as relationships go... NUMBER ONE has to be COMMUNICATION! Both parties have to talk, be ok with taking the good with the bad, respecting each other enough to want to work through whatever comes their way. I'm pretty happy with where I am, am happier and excited with where I'm headed and looking to see who, out there, might be the right person to have alongside... Looking, NOT needing.

... of course it depends on what you bring to the table but I'm up for just about anything.

The IDEAL first though, has to involve lots of talking, questions and answers... quiet and comfortable... a sunny riverbank or warm coffee shop? Compatability becomes apparent pretty quickly then you go from there.
