| | Not all of the reasons for picking "turtle" for my personality have to do with winning the race. I will share if you are interested.
I am a reader. Some books I have liked are: The Hobbitt, Speaker for the Dead; American Gods; Jude the Obscure; Loving Frank, whatever the last book is that I have read; and probably the book I am reading now. (That happens to be Why Girls are Weird; I've ordered Ask Anything from Netflix in the hope of understanding the books character Lloyd Dobler (who gets compulsive about parentheses.)) Isabel Allende's memoir-cookbook is one of my favorites because it combines storytelling with cooking for others.
For music, I like jazz and classical the most. Sometimes I enjoy blues, folk, and rock and roll.
I've always taken thing apart to see how they work (and gotten them back together again, too). I've had a serious interest in computers for a long time. We've come a long way from Hollerith Cards and paper tapes!
