I have been alone for a long time - busy raising 2 boys on my own until last year, when I moved from London to Point Edward. I really would like to find somebody to spend the rest of my life with, but all in good time. Friends first, then we'll see what develops.

As far as music goes - I love all kinds of music, with the exception of Rap, the really twangy country stuff, hard rock that makes your eardrums split open, and opera - apart from that - all kinds of music :)

I am pretty easy going - get along with most people, and try to see the humour in situations. Had the same best friend for 35 years, which I think is a plus. I try to treat people the way I'd like to be treated and not to judge until I've heard the whole story.

I hope to find someone that is honest, intelligent and funny, and who would like to spend some time travelling either nationally or internationally.

I'm kind of a home body - I'm more of an introvert than an extrovert, but I've learned to overcome my shyness. I love reading - read at least 2 to 3 books a week, and right now my passion is quilting - I love creating new things so that I can see what they look like.

First date - I'd hope we could spend time in good conversation to find out about each other - over a coffee, a walk, or during a good meal, (in a nice setting - doesn't have to be fine dining - just a place where we both feel comfortable). First dates are stressful enough - perhaps we could call it a first meet, instead.
