So I thought it was time for an update...I am new to IL and have limited time away from work to meet people, so I'm still giving this internet dating a try. I don't know if I truly believe I will find someone special on here, but friends out here would be enough anyways.

I will be honest in that I recently got out of a longterm relationship (June)and I am ready for a fresh start. I am looking for someone to be happy with and make happy in return. I want a friend first, then more! A big requirement is that he would be self sufficient. I want someone who would add to my life but still have his own with or without me! I've had a dependent relationship, and frankly I'm not ready to be a mother yet and that's how it felt!

I am the type of girl to be more than comfortable in jeans and a tshirt or more commonly a scrub top and kakhis, but I do love the opportunity to dress up and show off a bit! I own make-up but frankly I rarely wear any...I palpate horses for a living, I don't really see the need to paint my face when it's that close to a horse's ass! But again, I do love to put myself together for a night on the town...even then I don't put on much though! I have never thought of myself as model type and I will never be a skinny twig, but I would still don't think I need makeup to be beautiful! If you need something fake all the time keep on trucking, I won't pretend for anyone!!

My passions in life include riding horses (my mule is my favorite), reading books, getting out of the house and playing with my favorite man (my doberman puppy, Lobo), and anything exciting! I will sing with the radio in the car or the shower(used to sing with a professional choir when I was younger - kinda miss it), I love to just admire days (when I have the time there's nothing more beautiful than watching the clouds or stars in the sky to relax your mind), and family is a number 1. My siblings and I will still bicker, but we would fight tooth and nail for one another too!

I'm new to IL for an internship. I'm from IN (hoosier born and raised) and I really don't know where I will end up after here. I have a father pleading with me to stop applying for jobs that are further and further away, but in the end I plan to go where I will be the happiest, so who knows!

I am definitely a career woman. Right now I am really into equine medicine (horses). Animals are my passion, so if you are not an animal person I am Not the girl for you.

I would say I'm unique because of my ambition. I go for what I want most in life! I love a challenge, and I prove to myself daily that I can do anything I put my mind to. That's why I'm a doctor at only 24! With that being said I do believe I am mature for my age. I can still have fun and let loose, but since I got into college I have been involved with the older crowds. I don't want someone who makes me feel like I could be their kid, but I am not looking for someone who hasn't grown up yet either! I want someone with the drive and maturity I have who can still have a good time too!

I have almost a permanent smile and I am the best at turning bad situations back around! You do need a sense of humor around me too!

I have a busy schedule so it is hard to find the right time, but that is only due to my internship this first year out of veterinary school. I'm always up for anything fun to try at least once, so shoot me some suggestions.
