My name is Katherine but you can call me Katie. I spend most of my time reading, listening to music, or hanging out at coffee shops and bars with my friends. I LOVE live music, but I don't go to many concerts since my friends don't like the same music as me (emo/indie/acoustic/alternative). I'm currently working in the security department of a hospital while attending classes towards an associates in general studies. I plan on eventually majoring in business/marketing/communications at a four-year school and then I'll see what happens next.

I currently have a fairly uncomplicated lifestyle, which mostly consists of seeing where the day takes me. Despite my full-time job and my part-time class schedule, I tend to have a good amount of free time (thank god for online classes!). I get along with most people and I'm hoping to expand my horizons by trying new things (even though I'm a bit of a wimp). My favorite bands/artists are (currently) Dashboard Confessional, Live, Regina Spektor, A Perfect Circle, and Elvis. Favorite authors range from Stephen King to Nicholas Sparks, Jodi Picoult to JK Rowling (yes, I just admitted that). I'll give most movies a try but my favorites, sadly, tend to be chick flicks.

I think dating should be fun - maybe do something a little different than the usual drinks of coffee, like minigolf or bumper cars.
