So here I am… pimping myself out on the internet! Who knew dating would become so complicated?!? LOL . Anyway, let’s see if I can finally meet someone special! So, sit down, get comfortable and allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Bruce. I am a 35-years-old, 5’10” 180lbs with light brown hair and hazel eyes. My career as a firefighter keeps me in decent shape and I try to eat relatively healthy and work out or run when I can. I try to look at life is an adventure and I strive to live it to its fullest! I moved to Florida from New York a few years back and I really like it here but I still miss NY a little!

My friends tell me that I’m a great listener, very observant and hopeless romantic at heart. I will always remember your birthday, your favorite color, favorite flower and pay attention to you. I believe in things like holding the door open for you, holding your hand, walking you to your car at night and checking under your bed for monsters after a scary movie. ;-)

I enjoy doing just about anything! I like being on the water or fishing. Going to baseball or football games and tailgating is always a good time. I’m really in to music! I fill my IPod with all types of music from every genre. I really never know what will play next. Although, if I had to choose a favorite type of music, I would probably have to go with punk, alternative or classic rock.

Even though I like to be active, I also really appreciate a nice lazy day watching TV while relaxing on the couch. Or a laid back day going to see a movie. I’m not really into the club scene anymore but, I do enjoy hanging out in some dive bar listing to a live band and having a pint with friends.

The kind of girl I’d like to meet has to know what she wants in life, be spontaneous and have a great sense of humor. I like to laugh and joke around and have a pretty sarcastic wit so you absolutely need a great sense of humor! The right girl for me finds humor in everything and doesn’t take anything, including herself, to seriously! Life is too short to be up tight! In addition, the ability to hold a conversation and an overall sense of awesomeness doesn’t hurt either! LOL.

As I said before, I'm not really into the club scene anymore, so a "club-girl" probably wouldn’t be my thing. I'm sorry to say that I'm not much of a dancer anyway. My perfect match would like to be active but can enjoy quiet nights on the couch with a movie and a bottle of wine. A great personality is very important to me but obviously physical attraction is just as important. I'm not a health nut but I take pretty good care of myself.

My family is very important to me. I have two beautiful daughters (6 & 8) that are the world to me. They do not live with me but I do get to see them a great deal. So obviously you have to be a big fan of kids and you have to understand that I do not introduce them to just anybody right away. Even though I have kids I still have plenty of time to share. Most importantly, don't worry about "baby momma drama", my ex-wife and I have been broken up for a long time. We are still friendly and get along really well. There has never been any issues in the past and I don't anticipate any problems in the future.

I want to find someone that will be fun to be around and I can become friends with first. However, my ultimate goal is to find someone special that when she looks at me my heart skips a beat, my palms get sweaty and I lose my train of thought. Moreover, when she smiles at me, time stands still and my day becomes that much better. I am not looking for perfect person, but an imperfect person that I see as perfect!

**On a side note, I hate having my picture taken! My photos never come out right and I cant do the fake "cheese" smile. So try not to judge me on my very lame photos! Pictures never do me justice! LOL

I can be a little shy at first but once I warm up I will have you laughing. I think something casual, like having a beer and a game of darts or pool, can be good to break the ice and get to know one another.
