Work hard, play hard is my motto. I know that's so cliche but why make money if you can't enjoy it with those that you care about and can treat them to some good drinks and food. I split time between the East coast and West coast, so I think I get the best of both worlds. Time in DC and NYC and then soaking in the warmth of sunny LA...but right now living in So Cal for a while. I'll never work hard enough that I won't be able to sneak a call your way, tease you a little and ask whacca wearing :P, then come on over with a bear hug, six pack of beer or a good bottle of wine, and some good ole comfort food. Can you say mojitos and some cupcakes??

When I'm at home, all I ever want to do is say screw work and spend time bumming on the couch and making my groove print bigger(even if the office is burning down, my blackberry won't stop going off and I get a nasty gram from the boss saying pick up or else...well maybe the or else will get me). Quality time with you is most important. A typical Saturday morning is letting you sleep in, I'll whip up some of my famous pho or chocolate chip pancakes, serve you some breakfast in bed but if it's pho then I suggest kitchen table since I don't want to roll around in bed with fish sauce. The weekends are a luxury for me, and I might suggest going a nice hike, rock climbing, or a lazy day go to the beach to get a little r& r and sun. If you like good food that's a bonus. Fancy schmancy or hole-in-the-wall, it doesn't matter. Good food is good food and it can come from a 5-star restaurant or a food truck. Those Mexican food trucks are addictive and so good. We'll both laugh the evening away and talk about what tomorrow brings and pass out on the couch from food coma and watching movies all night.

I value my close friendships, and I hope you do as well. I recognize the need for personal space, and will surely give you yours - everyone needs a little me time alone.
