I like being outdoors. Walking, hiking, canoeing, camping. I love to dance. At the moment into salsa and Latin dancing. I like music -- classical, folk, rock and roll, some jazz, Irish and other ethnic traditions. I love to garden and grow as much organic food as possible. I find nourishment in Native American spirituality, Taoism, Sufism and Buddhism. I like good food, baking bread, trying new recipes. My reading is all over the map, but mostly literature, nature, some science. I'm looking for a partner who likes the simple life. For me, "Relationship is all" means relating to all there is, from tall grass waving in the wind to a wood-fired pot. Have lived with and prefer heating by woodstove, although currently I don't have one. Can split my own wood. The closer to wildlife and the elements, the better. I‘m open to new experiences. I’ve been a professional gardener, a puppeteer, an environmental activist, a teacher. I enjoy my current work as a radio producer. I have lived in community and alone. Both have their deep rewards. But most rewarding was my love relationship with a committed partner, and if that happens again, great. Though a good friend and companion would be more than enough. If I had to describe myself with one word, it would be ageless. If I could add a second word, it would be adaptable. My idea of a great time is sleeping under the stars.
