Easy going, even tempered, sense of humor... dry. Jazz, some Country.. Beatles, Eagles, Leonard Cohen, Nora Jones, Sting, U2, Ella etc. I like to shop for groceries fresh,.. coffee hot no sugar. Movies and popcorn, at home or out. I read mysteries, have a library card and go to the gym. I get all the holiday's off... thinking of travel. Have wonderful grown children who are thinking of having their own kid's soon. Like the city I am in, the job I have. I have had gray hair since my 20's (runs in my family) so need reminding I am not 30 sometimes. Strong, but vulnerable, big but gentle. I do feel that life will provide, as long as I am true to my principles and needs. I don't really feel comfortable about this online stuff. There is no substitute to meeting someone unbidden and spontaneously hitting it off. However by the time I finish work, and do what must be done, shopping and making supper and such, I don't feel like going anywhere but to a good book. Ahh well...I may not respond if I don't think there will be a spark. Shallow to judge from a picture I know, when there is so much more to a person, but I find it difficult to wear my heart on my sleeve and meet a whole bunch of people. I am just looking for one special person, not a dating pool. I am not as good as I once was but I am as good once as I ever was.
