Who I am? I am an honest person and I'm not going to try and paint a perfect picture. I was a total screw off. I partied and lived day to day enjoying life. Never really got into many serious relationships because I have always envisioned a perfect couple like my grandparents. I've always wanted children but could hardly afford myself. I wanted to be financially secure before bringing a child into this world and of course with a woman I would gladly die for by my side. I am a little traditional believing the man should be the provider and the woman should be the homemaker. I'm not against a woman having a career, goals and a life outside of the house. I just think that a mother should be with the child until schooling begins.

I lived in Detroit for awhile not making the best of decisions and headed in all the wrong directions. One year my Grandparents asked if I would drive them to Florida.
I thought it would be a good chance to start over. It was an incredible life changing experience. I stayed in Florida for six years before coming home to take care of my grandfather for the remainder of his life. While back in Michigan I found my calling in life and Its put me in the position to do all the things I have dreamed of except it leaves me stuck in Michigan for longer than I wanted.

So now that I'm in a position to afford children I need that special lady to accompany me on this journey.

A little about myself.
I spent several years cooking professionally I worked under several executive chefs and I was a sous chef for many years. I love cooking. Once I got a job I didn't have to work weekends I quit cooking and never looked back. So if you don't cook that's fine with me. I actually enjoy making smiles with my cooking.
I like dining out at restaurants. And there isn't much food I won't eat. I dislike fast food.

I enjoy all kinds of music. I like classic rock all though I've heard it all so many times it does bore me a bit. I like some country but mostly classic. I like rap old and some new. I like anything that sounds good and enjoy finding new stuff to listen to. Some of my favorites are Janes Addiction, Prince, Pearl Jam.

Family Life. Not as great as I would hope but I guess its part of the reason I want to start my own family.

Hobbies and interest. I like fishing and spending time on the water. I like snorkeling and want to get scuba certified soon. I enjoy playing poker and going to casinos I'm not much of a gambler I usually win knock on wood.
I enjoy doing pretty much anything that sounds like fun.

I am kinda a homebody I like coming home and relaxing the days I work which is 6.
I like going out on Saturday Night and spending Sunday out of the house unless yard work calls. I enjoy making my home a fun place to be.
I enjoy spending time with my dog. I like all kinds of animals.
Birds are ok just loud and messy.

Well this is has been a test to see if you girls read profiles. I read alot of complaints that us guys never do.

I would like to include that I am a very faithful, honest, funny, smart, happy, considerate person. I don't play games and like an upfront approach.
