I'm independent, logical, honest, nice and educated. My hobbies include dancing, bike-riding, cooking, writing and reading. I'm currently a teacher but after getting some experience, I plan to move on to something else in education.

I am active in my faith but open to meeting anyone with a moral compass. I'm not perfect and don't expect perfection from a partner.

I try to live my beliefs, and am attempting to hold on to the progressive, rather hippie beliefs I held in college (despite living in the real world now).

My tastes in everything are eclectic, and music is no exception. Although I equally like chill music (R&B, ambient) and dance music (electronica, acid jazz), I really will listen to anything once (my dad was a wedding DJ once upon a time, so I grew up on 80's pop music).

I tend to be more outgoing online than in "real life." Although I'm reserved and platonic initially, I become less reserved once I know someone better and am comfortable around that person. I will tell you before first meeting if I'm interested in just staying friends or if I want to start out platonic but keep the more-than-friends option open. I am not afraid of the "where do we stand conversation," so feel free to ask if you're not sure.

For first dates, I like either coffee at a cafe (preferably a fun, hippie sort of cafe) or a walk around a park.
