I'm a fun-loving guy who tries to make the most out of any situation through good humor and laughter. While my education, career goals, and a future family are what's most important to me, any other time I'm typically very young at heart. I've found that having a close-knit group of friends is more rewarding than being the guy with tons of acquaintances. It's funny how some people seem to be more interested in knowing peoples' names than knowing anything about them. During the week I stay pretty dedicated to my job, but being on 2nd shift allows me to do the beach during the day, or go to lunch just about anytime. I have weekends off as normal, but then again I don't get off work till Friday night. I tend to make the most of my weekends by finding great places to go for dinner, and spending time with my closest friends. To stay active my favorite things to do are going swimming at the beach or the pool, or loading up the bike and hitting a local trail or just cruise through downtown areas along sidewalks and paths. When I want to spend my time relaxing I love having a few good beers and listening to some good live music. I also love star gazing on a cool evening. It's what I consider to be an amazing spiritual experience. I love going traveling whether it's for camping or just to explore different parts of Florida. And occasionally I like to pack a suitcase and venture off somewhere away from anything familiar.

I'm definitely an easygoing guy, and I keep a pretty open mind but there are a few things I have pretty strong convictions about. I'll likely be a lifelong student even once I get settled in my career. I have a very wide sense of humor so it's likely that you'll see me smiling way more often than not!

As for my match, I prefer someone who's still very young at heart and loves to laugh. Someone who takes their career seriously and is driven to succeed. A woman who's affectionate and sensual and appreciates the same in a man. I would definitely like somebody who likes going out for dinner but can also accompany me in the kitchen or on the grill to cook up some fantastic dinners together! Being active and staying healthy also means a lot to me and while I'm not looking for a fitness fanatic, I would like to find somebody who enjoys a few nights a week at the gym and/or going for long bike rides or swimming together.

I've always believed that a first date should start out as something simple like doing appetizers or drinks, and depending on whether there's chemistry or not just play it by ear afterwards. You never want to plan too much on a first date in case there's absolutely no connection at all. After a drink, going bowling or shootin some pool together helps make for a laidback, relaxing evening with good conversation, and maybe just a lil competition...
