About me? I am an active person with a high energy level. I love walking, especially in the woods. I am considered a wit, and will usually make people laugh. I'm not a shy person, but I am reserved when introduced into a new group. I'm a trivia buff - probably someone you would want on your team when playing Trivial Pursuit or Jeopardy. A knowledgeable sports fan, but a diehard football fan. Enjoy most any activity that has some physical nature to it - walking,gardening, bowling, kayaking. I like playing pool, and enjoy live bands at a pub. Prefer not to embarass myself on a dance floor. Love bargain hunting -yard sales, Frenchy's,etc. Family is the most important aspect in my life, and that will never change. I previously thought that the tried and tested 7 o'clock movie was appropriate, but that really only works if you knew the person previously. For a first date with someone you are meeting for the first time...well, that's different. A walk through Centennial Park, or on the walking trails along the river would be better. Or go on a Yard sale hunt. You could probably tell a bit about a person by their interests or knowledge there. If there is no connection, it would simply be introducing yourself to a new friend. Either person can admit there isn't a connection, and hopefully nobody gets hurt. If there is a connection, the time will fly by, and there will have to be a follow up date to continue. |
