About Me
I'm Jordan. I'm 19 years of age and currently reside in Calgary, which is a pretty big town in Canada and absolute dump. I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Canada when I was 12.
My life is by no means exciting at the moment, I've finished both school and college with grades in science, english, mathematics, technical writing, journalism, creative writing. Quite the odd selection. I guess you could say I'm still lacking some direction in life, I would love to study further but I'm not sure what subjects to take. I only have a partime Job, Which means I don't have a lot of money, thereforeI don't go out a lot. Although I hardly go out, I'm quite happy with my lifestyle at the moment. I've never been much of a drinker or someone you'd find at all the parties, so quiet nights in with suit me just fine regardless of how boring this may seem to outsiders. I'm not a healthy person either, I smoke occasionally, never eat regularly, and the only exercise I ever seem to get is walking. Despite all that though, I'm perfectly fine with my weight. I'm not stick thin, and I'm not overweight.
I've always had quite a broad acceptance with most things, there is no genre of movie or music that I 'hate', though there are some that I may dislike in some way. This also goes with my everyday views. I feel like I have quite a strong mind about me when given the chance to use it, I have big opinions on every matter but I'm not the type to shove my views down other's throats, so you needn't worry about that. I've grown over the years, I've become a lot more stronger a person and have put any past hurt behind me. Regardless of the fact I'm quite a strong person now though, I am still very insecure. I can point out more flaws in myself than any other person I know and do not see myself in any way perfect as some may think. But saying that, I know better than to take any hurtful comments or remarks from people that don't know me to heart, so don't think you're going to break me in any way by being nasty. I only value the opinions of those closest to me, and you're nowhere near that.
I have quite a few general interests, a few of which are body modification, writing, music, art, reading, and human emotions. In my spare time you're likely to find me either doing, or looking up something related to these subjects. I'm also a very strong believer in individuality. Everyone should be their own person and follow no-one but themselves. Quite a few have called me a hypocrite for stating this, as apparently because I have my hair a certain way, and I like spending time online, it means I'm following a trend which I suppose I can agree with to a certain extent. What I disagree with about that though is the fact that I'm not doing these things because I'm following other people, it's because I want to do it. It is extremely difficult to come up with something that no-one has ever done before, or a hair style that no-one's ever had, etc. I'm a hard one to get talking, but once you push that barrier I can assure you I'm a very interesting person.
I was always raised to be a good, peaceful person. I have never got into a fight in my life and know better than to start anything in that sense. But still, I will defend when it comes to nasty things said about myself or anyone close to me, so if you think I won't reply to anything hateful you send me because I'm too scared, think again. Despite all that though, there are many things that irritate the hell out of me. Rudeness, disrespect and arrogance, not just to me but to anyone are traits in people which I cannot stand. And although my nice nature, these kind of people really make my temperature rise. I also have little patience for people who type everything in ridiculous text writing, such as 'whn ppl type lyk ths'. How long does it really take to type normally? Seriously. I believe that the human race altogether has gone downhill these days, it's extremely hard to come by a genuinely nice person who won't stab you in the back or something similar. I know I've made a lot of mistakes in the past that I wish I could take back, but don't be so quick to judge me on that because I can bet that you've more than likely made mistakes too.
If you've made it to this last part of my about me, then congratulations. As for my last word though I'd just like to put in that although I may have spent a bit more time than the average in writing about myself for you people to read, this is by no means all that I am as a person. In real life I am far more complicated and it would take years to describe myself in full to you, so be in no way quick to judge me because you'll never fully know me.
If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.
P.S. These days not a lot of people take the time to read through a person's profile, even just for the basics. They'll just make a judgement on that person based on looks and appearance. If you are one of the small few who does take that time to read through what I've written, I just want to say thank you and I appreciate it.
