I'm as simple or complex as the situation at hand demands. My personality has more facets than any gemstone. I'm passionate, caring (too much sometimes...gets me in trouble), sensitive, thoughtful, funny and dependable. If you were to ask me what my biggest flaws are, I'd tell you that I wear my heart on my sleeve and I over analyze things. I also consider myself educated and fairly intellectual and sometimes, without meaning to, I throw it in peoples faces. I'm also very honest and blunt....I wont tell you what you want to hear just to hook you. Basically I'm unique....just like everyone else.

I'm a bookworm. I love to read, a lot. I love knowledge. There is no knowledge that is not power. I like to learn about many things. History, geography, archeology to name a few. I have a keen interest in the Norse and vikings, ancient and medieval warfare, armouring and forging. I also collect Transformers action figures...have since I was a kid...its the one part of my childhood I refuse to give up.

I love to drive, road trips to meet people arent a big deal....within reason....I also like to cook. Not a chef by any means, but I enjoy coming up with things with whatevers on hand, and I like to grill also.

I also enjoy being outside...just taking a walk...going to the beach, hiking in the woods and mountains, swimming, biking. When I get to see my kids, I like to do things with them. Bring them new places, show them new things...share history and science with them. Theyre awesome little boys, 7 and 9.

I have very eclectic tastes in music and film. Not a big country fan. I like and appreciate the lyrics, just not the style.

I dont have a "type" when it comes to women...I wont limit myself that way and possibly miss out on someone amazing. I love to talk and answer questions about myself, so ask away. Anything you want. I text a lot on my phone, if you'd like to text me, just ask. Also have Insant messenger on my phone, again, just ask.

Lately something Ive been seeing on here is making me roll my eyes and at times sigh heavily. Many of you ladies include in your profile how youre tired of games and drama, yet the majority of the women ive talked to and/or met and gone on a date or two with would be front runners for an Academy Award for best Actress in a Drama. Ladies, I'm not perfect by any means...I'm human, and I'm male, however, I'm here looking for approximately the same as you....so *please* say what you mean, and mean what you say.

As far as music, as I said i have eclectic tastes but what I usually listen to and have a passion for is anything from the label Psychopathic Records. If you know who and what the Hatchetman is and youre ok with it, we'll get along fine. If youre going to judge me for it and assume you know how I must be because of the music I listen to, then best of luck to you looking elsewhere. I also gravitate to the heavy stuff, like Static X, Mushroomhead, Coal Chamber, Killswitch Engage, Dry Kill Logic, Rammstein, Manson etc.

Getting together casually initially for coffee or whatever, I think is the best way to start....I learn about you, get a feel, then tailor a date around you and your interests and likes.
