I'm 25 and I work as an XBox360 Developer, but I currently study part-time on the side for my PhD, which is being done in computer science at the University of Warwick. While I consider myself a little bit of a nerd, I'm definitely not your A-typical one.

I have a lot of varied hobbies ranging from the standard socialising, bars and gaming to more uncommon ones such as cooking from scratch, beer brewing and camping. More extreme ones are also a lot of fun, such as snowboarding and white water rafting. I really like to cook (I'm pretty good at it too!), and try to make things from scratch when possible! I also really like to travel and experience new things, especially the more uncommon locations of the world.

I'd certainly like to think I'm a good laugh (who am I kidding, I know I'm a good laugh!). I'm very open minded when it comes to women, but have high standards. I've recently got out of a long term relationship so I'd ideally like to take things a little slower. Basically, my life is fantastic as is, but it never hurts to find someone to share things with. A sense of humour is an absolute must in a woman, so take heed; if your boring don't message me!

My open minded-ness is well reflected in my musical and cinematic tastes. I generally listen to pretty much most things from rock / metal / indie / industrial (examples: Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Linkin Park, Rammstien), all the way to old school hip-hop (think Jurrasic 5, DJ Format, Sugar Hill Gang), and back to more eclectic stuff (I'm looking at you, Arcade Fire) and even the odd Orchestral piece.

The standard drinks and get to know you is great, I also love films and the cinema, but it would need to be a film that can get people talking, followed by somewhere quiet for us to talk afterwards
