I can never quite figure out the best way to start these things off...I guess "Hello" is just as good a starting point as any. My name is Victoria and I live in St. John's. I have a job that I love and when I'm not working I can usually be found wandering around town with my camera taking pictures for my photoblog (http://developinginterests.blogspot.com/).

I'm a pretty low maintenance, easy going kinda girl. Always up for an adventure, but also content to stay home and chill out. I'm always up for watching a good movie or playing video games (even though for the most part I'm pretty terrible at them). I love the discovery channel and watching nature/natural history shows, I also have a soft spot for cartoons, particularly the ones from the 90's (I just started re-watching Batman the Animated Series, it's so good). My taste in music is pretty random, I like just about everything, rock, folk, jazz, classical, musical you name it and I'm always up for hearing some new tunes.

I really enjoy traveling, and plan to do so as often as I can. Backpacking through Europe and Roadtripping North America are definitely tops on my list of things to do before I die.

I think that just about covers the basics, other than that I like hanging out with friends, going for late night walks, interesting conversations over good coffee and making people laugh.

I'm pretty shy in person and often find it hard to make the first move when meeting new people, hence me being here. I'm hoping this will help in that department and hopefully lead to meeting some awesome new people in the new year. :)

The most important part of a first date for me is definitely having the opportunity to get to know someone. Anywhere where we can talk would be great, be it over drinks, dinner, coffee or just a walk in the park. It's always fun to go exploring on a first date, you never know where you might end up.
