I've experienced a number of changes in recent years, which have reinforced my appreciation for health, personal resiliance and enduring friendships. I would enjoy sharing my many interests and enthusiasms with an intelligent, fit, an affectionate man. I am an active and social being, who also appreciates quiet and restful times. I am employed in a dynamic and stimulating position in academia. I totally enjoy the energy of Portland, and am not interested in relocating. I do enjoy traveling and weekend adventures away.

I enjoy many outdoor activities, but especially cycling. I am not much into spectator sports, or motor focused activities like water skiing, jet boating, motorcycling, or car racing. I have been involved in the dance community (ballroom, Latin, swing) from time to time. I like many types of music, especially classical. I also appreciate art, urban design, and architecture, and the rich cultural fabric of Portland.

My preferred partner would be an engaging, open, and resourceful man with an active lifestyle. Being on the liberal side, I enjoy being with a man who is smart and socially aware, but open to discussing ideas and not dogmatic. High on my list is the ability to give and receive affection, and to understand that intimacy includes sensuality as well as sexuality. A great sense of humor is the icing on the cake.
