When you get to be my age, you should know what you want and don’t want in a male/female/romantic relationship. If not, you’re bound to make the same mistakes over and over. Well, I don’t have 40 years to ’practice’ so I’ve spent considerable time deciding what I’m looking for, and this is it:

I prefer someone taller than I: it feels safe & secure to look ’up’ to a man. Should be in reasonable shape/condition/health because I want to do more than just sit around and grow old(er) together. Because of my upbringing (strict Southern traditions), manners/social graces are also important.

Looking for someone who doesn’t live to ’drink’ but enjoys one from time to time, and who can accept someone who smokes on occasion (a carton lasts me more than 2 weeks and I’m considerate of those who don’t).

Honesty, integrity and moral values (VERY difficult to find on ANY single site/male or female) are a given because those are three values which have been instilled in me because of the way I was brought up. I detest people who can’t tell the truth, who think only of themselves and believe ’sex’ is a motion, not an e-motion.

I LOVE motorcycles, horses, country living, the Rocky Mountains, casinos, flea markets, pets (cats not so much), a good movie, fresh popcorn, CSI-type of shows on TV, fishing, scuba diving (want to re-certify), fresh seafood, a good steak and thought-provoking banter. Yes, I am a very opinionated, independent woman but I have room and will make time in my life for a quality man.

Oh, one last thing......in 1982, I was raising Apps and rode nearly everyday. In early August, I had a riding accident that left me deaf: the alternative would have been worse. So, please keep this in mind. If you met me on the street, you likely would not know but it will take a very patient and kind man to make it work between us. But then, I think I’m worth it.

Doesn't have to be anything fancy; a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink at Happy Hour is fine.....and I will pay for my own. Because I know that an 'attraction' to someone is usually immediate, I will not waste your time or mine. If it's not there, it's not there. If it is, and mutual, we can go from there. Fair enough?
