I am a very easy-going and down to earth guy. I believe in enjoying life to the fullest, so even though work keeps me pretty busy, I try to make time for the people and the things that are important to me.

I love being out in the city, whether it's to lounge, listen to some live Jazz, take in a show/movie, or trying new restaurants; caribbean, indian, thai, and japanese food are my faves. And nothing beats good conversation with interesting people at a coffee shop (preferably not a Starbucks ;)

I love to travel and experience new and interesting cultures. Negril, Jamaica is my No. 1 travel destination; though South America has become a new interest lately. Locally, my favorite restaurant is Mobay in Harlem; excellent food with a great atmospehere and live music. Turkish Kitchen over on the east side has become another fave of late. The Living Room at the W Hotel in times square is a good place to lounge.

My taste in music is as eclectic and diverse as the people in my social circle, ranging from Reggae to RnB, to Jazz, classical, gospel, soft rock, latin and so on. I draw the line at heavy metal though. I'm originally for the Caribbean (Jamaica) so a love for dancing (of all types) is firmly imprinted on my DNA :)

I like meeting and surrounding myself with people who are down to earth and who enjoy life to the fullest as well, even though life can be difficult sometimes; people who are confident and secure about themselves and, as a result, are comfortable being themselves all the time (prefer no to deal with the facade); and people who realize and understand that we are all a part of something bigger than ourselves, even though we may disagree as to what that thing is :).

I don't have a set routine, but prefer to do different things, whether a nice dinner, meeting for coffee/drinks, hanging out at a spot in the village listening to some live music, walking in the park, or bowling, etc. As long as the option allows me and my date to have opportunity to have a good conversation and learn about each other, I'm all for it.
