So currently i spend most of my time booking and promoting live music events in a city centre music venue. I'm also studying music business at college, and have just taken up a role as a live music reviewer for an online review site. I do a radio show once a week on student radio. I also occasionally perform my own music, but have kinda let that slip, so i'm going to spend more time writing songs and getting a new set together. I'm also hoping to put together a band, and start doing some proper recordings with some producers I know. Suffice to say, music is my life, which is sometimes overwhelming.

But i have and have always had other interests. I only recently got into promoting, and prior to that i'd lived on a farm in France doing renovations, had worked as a stockbroker, lived in Barcelona, performed stand up comedy while i was there. I think more than anything I get bored easily, even now i'm really starting to think I need things and people outside the music scene to keep me amused. Hence why i'm here!

I also love reading, a lot of sci-fi (hitchhikers guide is maybe my favourite book of all time) and a lot of music books (obviously) and the odd biography/autobiogrpahy. Don't have my tv connected to an aerial so don't watch any, but i watch the occassional DVD, into my classic 80's comedies right now, Uncle Buck, Spaceballs, Groundhog Day ... sure i'll start a new phase once that gets boring.

Not the most active sportwise, but i've finally joined a gym and hope to take up squash and golf again, but maybe the latter once winter is over!

People would probably say i'm quite thoughtful, sometimes intense, hard working, funny, full of ideas, a bit strange, honest and faithful. Or they'd say i'm a wank, I dunno, who knows what people think about you really?

I'd love to travel more in the near future and for the rest of my life, not seen nearly enough of this crazy world.

First things first, i'm not going to be drinking for a while, doesn't mean I wouldn't go to a pub, but given I spend most of my time in one working, i'm really hoping anyone I meet on here is up for something more imaginative and different than just getting pished.
