I'm a pretty outgoing individual who appreciates all things creative. I like art and photography, I have a degree in art and work as a designer for a major dotcom. My background is kind of diverse. I grew up in the south but I always gravitated towards the alternative. This led me into things like skateboarding and alt/indie/punk/hardcore music when I was growing up. These interests also molded my values and made me who I am today but I don't box myself in. I have a love for good movies and books. I've been a vegan for the past 16 years, it's a big part of my life but you shouldn't feel threatened. I'm not judgmental or snobby about it. I love to travel and have done plenty but plan to do more. One of my biggest problems is that I start projects and never finish but every once in a while one will come through. This usually involves music or art which the day job seems to get in the way of. Lately I've been focusing on fitness and have become a bit obsessed with running. It's great because I live so close to town lake and enjoy running the trail. I have an appreciation for good industrial design. I like European cars, motorcycles, and various old things. I find beauty in many old and worn vintage items. My music tastes run the the gamut. I like Morrissey, Elliott Smith, Sunny Day Real Estate, Built to Spill, Dinosaur Jr, The Beatles, Kanye West, Willie Nelson, Classical music, Heavy Metal, etc. Mostly I enjoy hanging out with good friends, talking and laughing a lot.

I'm pretty flexible about first dates as long as I get a chance to talk to you one on one. Meeting at a local coffee shop, cafe or bar that I'm comfortable with is ideal. I'm pretty good at quickly figuring out if there is something there for a relationship, be it a friendship or something more. I try not to attach any expectations to first dates.
