I like to travel and see new places, try new foods; but I haven't been able to do that for a while. I also like to go camping, but I haven't done that in an even LONGER time! I spend a lot of time hanging out with my neighbors and friends. I am also very close to my family, who all live near by. My taste in music? Hard to say... I like outdoor concerts and in the summer I have been known to frequent the Concert in the Park - it is fun to ride bikes downtown and have a beer or two while listening to local bands.
I like DOING stuff, and enjoy new things. I couldn't say "I thrive on adventure" or that "I just can't wait to get on the mountain and tear it up!" because that's not really me. :) But that's not to say that I don't like skiing or hiking, because I do. I am certainly open to being shown a new adventure by someone special.

As far as relationships go, I have had many (OK, more than a few) - some long term, some short. I have learned things from each one, and I can reflect positively on all that I have learned. It has been a while, however, since I have been in a relationship; and I do really miss the sweet words, the cuddling and laughing, and the anticipation of spending time with that other person.

I am an elementary school teacher, a homeowner, a dog owner, and a single mom. What else can I tell you that doesn't sound like a commercial?

Something simple like coffee or drinks is always best for a first date, I think. But I am open to anything. Surprise me.
