i'm not heroin-chic thin, and don't use tobacco, seldom drink alcohol (only socially), and try to stay away from junkfood and tv.

for any laundry-listers out there, my physical details are represented fairly accurately in the pics and numbers here. other salient details include being a bit of a geek, somewhat heavily (though tastefully) tattooed, often quite irreverent, and occasionally kilted.

i'm not looking for casual sex, though i'd like to make room to cherish any sparks that fly. ultimately i'm into building towards forever, with you, if we find all those mental and emotional and physical connections, and want more.

i'm getting well aged. only 38, and in a phd program for a couple more years. the good news is i'm old enough so that most of my baggage fits in the overhead compartment, and young enough to still leave you gasping in shocked pleasure for half the night.

please be smart, counter culture, cute, and young enough to have kids (and want them, given the right circumstances).
please be old enough to have voted in a couple of presidential elections, and have voted something besides republican.

For the time being I'm doing some work on "me", including a lot more time meditating (vipassana), riding my bicycle around LA, and spending more time than is probably healthy writing on my laptop in coffee shops. want to join me?

I've found a great coffee shop. Let's meet there, and if we enjoy that, maybe go bowling, or to dinner.. talking to you is a big part of what I'd like to do though, in those first few days, so let's save a movie for later.
